About Us
The Alphabet Collective is a queer-founded and led peer support group for LGBTQIA+ people aged 18-25 in the Leeds area.
We strive to engage LGBTQIA+ people in affirming experiences which celebrate and explore intersectional identity through peer support, open discussion, empowerment, and collaboration.

Our Objectives

To support the social and emotional well-being of Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Asexual and Queer identifying, including those questioning their gender and/or sexual identities (LGBTQIA+) communities in Leeds, with an initial focus on 18-25 year olds with a view to expand in the future.

To engage LGBTQIA+ people in affirming experiences which celebrate and explore identity through peer support and open discussion, taking the form of support groups, creative workshops and recreational activities.

To provide a safe and aspirational space which aims to empower intersectional LGBTQIA+ communities.

To establish ongoing and beneficial networks via external partnerships which include charitable organisations, community groups, private, and public sector businesses.

To develop a collaborative and dynamic approach to supporting LGBTQIA+ young people to assist in developing their skills and confidence

What We Do
The Alphabet Collective runs a weekly social group, offers 1-1 support, and takes our attendees on trips.
